I miss these guys so much. I always look at this photo when I feel like reaffirming my goals. There are so many memories attached to this place but mostly it's the memory of that feeling that I was doing exactly what I wanted to be doing. It's a good feeling to have.

Starting Over

I've been looking for somewhere to start afresh as my last online journal has about nine years of ramblings from a person who has changed a lot over that time. I'm looking for somewhere I can just write as myself without the dregs of those nine years complaining about the content. I'm also looking for somewhere that the majority of people I know in real life don't read religiously, because frankly, I can talk to them in real life.

Currently I'm doing my MA in museum and curatorial studies and I hope to work in the field of archaeology. I have previously worked in Jordan on a dig at Khirbet Sheik-Isa and am hoping to go back each year. Apart from digging I also drew the pottery sherds for publication of the first year of excavation. I'm primarily interested in Roman/Middle Eastern archaeology and the cross overs therein. I also love many other specialty areas but there's little access to them where I'm located.

I love travelling and reminiscing about travelling so I plan to post some photos and memories too. I love making things such as corsets, props, clothing, and creatures plus I love photography and all kinds of other art forms.

So, there's a bit about me. Hopefully I'll continue to update this blog and see how it goes.
